After working in the funeral industry for several years, our founder Krystine became increasingly concerned about the high costs that families were required to pay to farewell their loved ones.
With this in mind Cremations only was created….
From humble beginnings, Cremations Only has become a leader in providing the highest quality of care at the lowest possible price.
We are a small family owned company, a member of the National Funeral Directors Association,
and we treat every funeral as if it’s for a member of our own family. By choosing Cremations Only to take care of your needs at such a difficult time, your loved one will receive the highest levels of care, respect and professionalism, while keeping costs within your budget.
With Cremations Only, paying less does not mean compromising on quality.
We understand that the process of organising the perfect farewell can be daunting. We have experienced Funeral Directors available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to support your needs at this time, and have created a number of all-inclusive packages to make the decision process really simple.
Nothing hidden, no expensive surprises.
Cremations Only are dedicated to the people of the Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast areas , taking care of families from Caboolture to Tweed Heads and as far West as Ipswich.

Having worked in the funeral industry for a while, Krystine saw a need for a low cost yet dignified alternative to an expensive funeral service. With this in mind, in February 2009 Cremations Only was created. Her background in event management led Krystine to facilitate her dream of helping Queensland families to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones, taking care of their needs and staying within their budget.
The family owned company continues to provide exceptional care and support to grieving families under the leadership of her son Aaron Kent who joined the company in 2014.
Aaron is Krystine’s son and the day to day manager of Cremations Only now that Krystine has moved into semi-retirement.
Aaron is passionate about continuing Krystine’s legacy in providing local Queensland families the best possible care and support in their time of need at the lowest possible cost.
At Cremations Only we understand that this process of organising a farewell can be both difficult and daunting. Aaron has a genuine compassion for people and understands the trust that families place in himself and his team in taking care of their loved ones. We understand how important it is that your loved ones farewell is exactly how you envisage and Aaron will do everything possible to ensure that no matter how small or large a request, that all of your needs are taken care of.
As the primary after hours contact, Aaron is always available to answer questions and offer advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Paul has been a funeral director for twenty years, caring for families in Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland. If there is one thing that Paul has learned in that time, it is that families need support during their time of loss. They need to have their loss acknowledged; time to grieve and express their love; and they deserve the care and understanding of a professional funeral director who can make the whole process of arranging a funeral as simple and gentle as possible.
